We had a mobile home directly at the sea: brilliant views, feeling of space. The home was clean and practical, the beds good. The restaurant in the middle of the camping is actually quite good and relatively cheap. There are good restaurants in the direction of Pula (E.G. Gina). There is a sand beach at a camping (Medulin) nearby - very rare in Croatia. Brilliant: Rt Kamenjak (20 min drive) - lots of nice coves in beautiful nature, although even that can get a bit crowded in high season.

1) We booked last minute and had a spot at the far end of the camping (#628), next to the animation which could be quite loud, till midnight (cur few) - difficult with children who need to sleep. On the other hand we had a large field next to our home, which was brilliant for play. 2) Our beach was a "dog's beach" which meant that some $%& people let their dog poop next to the bushes in front of our home without cleaning it up afterwards. Not too much the staff can do about (apart from cleaning up), but not very nice, especially not with young children who like to run around. 3) The airco is rather big for a small home, which means that the whole home shakes when you use it. But hey, it is us who asked for limited luxury but still an airco, so that should not really be ground for complaints. Other: I have not see anyone using the small kids' animation - does it exist? (our kid was too small to take profit anyway). Beaches are relatively difficult for kids (rocks, at best pebbles, one sand beach in the whole of Istria?), but you know that when you decide to go to Croatia.
